Know the best solution before you checkout

Our goal is to get you tooling as quickly as possible. Below is an explanation of parcel and freight shipping scenarios. If your cart includes a freight-only item, or if your total shipment weight exceeds 150 lbs., freight options will appear at checkout.

Freight-only shipping items
Scenario 1

1+ freight-only item(s)

If your cart includes an item that must ship freight (example: A 24" Ogre Reamer), you will only see these options:

  • FedEx Freight LTL Economy
  • FedEx Freight LTL Priority
  • Pick Up
Parcel shipping options
Scenario 2

Cart is less that 150 lbs.

If your cart does not exceed 150 lbs. (example: three Red Diamond directional blades), you’ll see standard and expedited parcel options:

Scenario 3

Cart is 150 lbs. or more

If your cart does not include a freight-only item, but the total shipment weight exceeds 150 lbs. (example: twenty-five of Red Diamond directional blades), you’ll see these options:

  • FedEx Freight LTL Priority
UPS options
  • UPS Ground

Note: Transit times and exact rates are shown during checkout after you enter your ship-to address. ORDER FROM ANYWHERE

Order from your smartphone ON THE JOBSITE. You can also order from any desktop computer or tablet...wherever your job takes you.

STEP 2

HDD SPECIALISTS VERIFY EVERY ORDER

An experienced HDD tooling specialist double-checks each order for connection types, rig compatibility, and all the small details that our customers often forget. HDD has a ton of technical specifications, so we know the value of having a 2nd pair of eyes on each order!

STEP 3

ORDERS ARE SMART-ROUTED

Each tooling order is automatically sourced and routed from the nearest local authorized distributor closest to your job site. If our factory is closest we will ship it from here in California. Our Shipping crew understands that HDD tooling is heavy - that is why we take extra care encapsulating every tool that leaves our dock in preparation for a safe journey from our home to your job site with the following: 

  • Wood & metal pallets are used for heavy equipment
  • Vacuum seal expanding foam cures into place around your tools to keep them from shifting
  • Our mandatory safety and pre-shipment checklist ensures your tooling doesn't leave without receiving some TLC and the Borzall stamp of approval

STEP 4

YOUR LOCAL DISTRIBUTOR CONFIRMS DETAILS

Each Melfred Borzall tooling distributor holds inventory locally near you, so you can get tools near you faster. When an order is auto-routed to your local distributor, they will always reach out to you prior to shipment to confirm all the details of shipping and delivery. This means:

  • A distribution network with a presence in every state guarantee your tooling is almost never more than a day away
  • 10 key international locations also make international ordering faster than ever. We don’t waste time and neither should you.

Whether delivered from a local distributor nearest you or directly from our California Warehouse, updates are always available online 24/7 and via email by logging into MyBorzall.
