Local Schools & Trade Programs

Melfred Borzall proudly supports US First, VEX and First Lego League robotics at several local schools. These are fantastic programs that promote engineering, manufacturing, teamwork and problem solving. Several of these teams have competed at the National and World level! Many of our summer interns are robotics program veterans and have skills and experience to make them immediately productive.

COMMUNITY-DRIVEN OUTREACH
We promote engineering and manufacturing skills and opportunities for youth in our community and beyond. Melfred Borzall employees give hands-on demonstrations of welding at career days for schools throughout the California central coast. Students are instructed in safe practices and given the opportunity to try arc welding and create a small project.
In 2019 we demonstrated at 15 area schools for over 2000 students.
